H-1B Latest Cap Count: 62,900
Tuesday, December 15th, 2009As of December 11, 2009, out of the 65,000 cap-subject H-1B petitions available, approximately 62,500 had been filed. The additional 20,000 petitions qualifying for the advanced degree cap exemption have already been reached.
USCIS will continue to accept both cap-subject petitions and advanced degree petitions until a sufficient number of H-1B petitions have been received to reach the statutory limits, taking into account the fact that some of these petitions may be denied, revoked, or withdrawn.
